About Vietnam Trip Kit
Vietnam Trip Kit helps you plan a Vietnam trip with figures from official sources: when to go, region by region, and how to get around by train. Where a source is in Vietnamese, such as the railway's timetable lookup and the national regulation QCVN 02:2022/BXD, we read it in Vietnamese.
What it is
Each planning page names the source of each figure and the day we read it, and marks what is our opinion, such as the train we'd pick. The site is made from public sources. Pages are published under the name Vietnam Trip Kit editors; no individual author is named. As of 4 Nov 2026 the site has no ads and no affiliate links; if that changes, this page will say so.
Nobody who works on it has travelled these routes for this site, so no page carries a field note. A field note, when there is one, is labelled as such.
Read how we check, including the data we use and its limits. If a figure is wrong, write to hello@vietnamtripkit.com with the page and the figure. We check it against the source and change the page if the source says something else. A corrected page shows its new date.
